Terms of Service

These Terms govern your use of the Multilanga plugin and the Multilanga API (the "Service"), operated by DoubleCoded ("we", "us"). By installing the plugin or using a license, you agree to these Terms.

The Service

Multilanga machine-translates the content of your WordPress website and stores the translations in your own database. A free tier and paid subscription plans are available. Feature limits (languages, automatic translation, word allowance) depend on your plan.

Licenses

  • A license authorizes use of the Service on the number of sites included in your plan.
  • You may move a license between sites you own using the plugin's Release function.
  • You are responsible for keeping your license key confidential.

Acceptable use

  • Do not use the Service to translate unlawful content or to infringe others' rights.
  • Do not attempt to circumvent plan limits, resell the Service, or overload the API beyond fair use.
  • We may apply rate limits to protect the Service.

Payment & renewal

Paid plans are billed in advance on a recurring basis through our payment processor. You can cancel at any time; your plan remains active until the end of the current billing period. If you cancel or downgrade, translations already stored in your database keep working — only automatic translation of new content stops.

Free tier & fair use

The free tier includes a limited, lifetime allowance of AI-translated words per site. Translations reused from official language packs do not count toward this allowance. We may adjust free-tier limits with reasonable notice.

Availability

We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. Because translated pages are served from your own database, your site stays online and multilingual even if the translation API is temporarily unavailable — only new automatic translations are delayed.

Warranty & liability

The Service is provided "as is". Machine translation may contain errors; you are responsible for reviewing translations before relying on them. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our liability is limited to the fees you paid in the twelve months preceding a claim.

Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for breach of these Terms. On termination, translations stored in your database remain yours.

Changes

We may update these Terms; continued use after an update constitutes acceptance. The "Last updated" date reflects the latest version.
